First of all, we want to express how grateful we are for questions like this. It’s incredibly rare and powerful that we’ve found ourselves a part of such an engaged and informed community that holds passion and an elevated standard for issues like ethical responsibility, that are so important to us.
At Alltrue, we are strongly committed to ensuring that the products we deliver are produced in a way that respects human rights and the environment, and protects the fundamental dignity of workers, in all parts of the world. We engage with brand partners and suppliers that are committed to these same principles.
Our standards are derived from the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Core Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), including the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our standards are the same for all vendors, including partners that produce products in China.
- All brand partners and suppliers must submit an Alltrue scored vendor assessment of their facilities before beginning production on Alltrue products.
- All brand partners and suppliers are expected to assess compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct at each production location regularly, and disclose any non-compliance to Alltrue with detailed corrective actions taken.
- All brand partners and suppliers inside the US/Canada must maintain records of all audit and self-assessment activity at each production location, and provide information to Alltrue within 24 hours of request.
- Partners outside the US/Canada must present a valid third-party social/ethical audit for each factory location during on-boarding, dated within two years.
